DryStar Pro

Industrial desiccant dehumidifier range designed for the water damage professional, temporary humidity control, museums, research laboratories, silo headspace conditioning, dry air storage and small production processes.

Manufactured from 2333 stainless steel as standard, DryStar Pro industrial dehumidifiers are available in three configurations; Aquasorb (A30), Consorb (DC) and Recusorb (DR). All units incorporate the high capacity SSCR Ultra ceramic-silica gel rotor.

On single phase units, reactivation heaters utilise positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistor technology and are self regulating for maximum safety and energy efficiency. Three phase units use resistive type heaters. All units include Auto-Manual mode switching and are pre-wired for simple humidistat connection via an amphenol plug.

           

R - Series

Mid-range industrial desiccant dehumidifiers for medium volume dry air stores and sports halls, museums, small clean rooms and manufacturing processes.

Manufactured in 2333 stainless steel, these units include internal heat recovery, electric reactivation and Auto-Manual mode switching. Pre-wired for simple humidistat control as standard, units are also available for two 2 step binary control (from EH4 2 step controller) or linear capacity control (from EH3 PI controller or BMS control signal).

The R Series is supplied with the high capacity SSCR Ultra ceramic-silica gel rotor, G3 panel filters, process and reactivation fans and all essential controls.

RZ - Series

Industrial dehumidifiers using desiccant technology, for large warehouses, cold stores, ice rinks and sports halls; chemical, pharmaceutical and confectionery manufacturing processes.

Manufactured in aluzinc, these units include internal heat recovery as standard, and are available with electric, steam or direct fired gas reactivation.

Capacity control options include simple On/Off, multi-stepped binary control and full PID linear control.

Manufactured using sturdy aluminum frames with double skin insulated aluzinc panels with 50mm fire resistance mineral wool (environmental class C4). Each module is supported independently on an aluzinc frame.

 
 

RU & RUF - Desiccant Rotor Cassettes

Available in cassette form, the SSCR silica gel rotor now enables dew points as low as minus 60°C to be achieved using a standard industrial air handling unit. The rotor cassette becomes an integral part of the air handling unit, thereby eliminating unnecessary duplication of system components.

Available for process system airflows from 1,000 m³/h to 250,000 m³/h the cassette includes the silica gel desiccant rotor, rotor drive system, radial and peripheral seals.

Cassettes are fabricated in stainless steel and aluminium and are supplied for both Consorb or Recusorb configurations (see here). Reactivation is achieved using electric, steam or direct fired gas heaters (supplied by the AHU manufacturer).
